Cape Anne Memories

I was born on the coast of Massachusetts. My cousins owned an island on the north coast, off Cape Ann. We spent the summer in one of the cottages under melancholy circumstances.

There were a few other islands we could see, rocky outcroppings furred with evergreens and foliage, looming mysteriously on the horizon.
