"Sitemap" is an egg tempera painting on panel

The painting is dreamlike, the perspective peculiar, like the strange pseudo-medieval Howard Pyle illustrations in my favorite childhood storybook.

It was meant to be reminiscent of early Italian Renaissance paintings. The landscape is based on my childhood memories of growing up in New England.
